• It's hard to completely gauge A Taste of India, as I went along this week for a wedding lunch, but based on that experience it was most pleasing: tender chicken served with a fresh and crispy salad, a never ending supply of perfect naan bread and a selection of dishes that really hit the spot considering it was a set menu.
  
  The service was attentive and friendly, and the setting was about as low-lit curry house as low-lit curry house gets.

  I'm glad to say it has improved drastically. The food is old style Indian which I like, but if you're looking for a lighter more modern approach to curries you'd be disappointed. The tandoori dishes are great - good sized shell-on prawns - and decent portion sizes. I can particularly recommend the king prawn patiya and the lamb korai. There are plenty of regulars who must've been going there forever - always a good sign. Oh, and the house red is ok too.

  If your looking for a great indian then this is it,great food ,the best atmosphere ,even better service ,all you can ask for in an indian.They do takeaway and eat in .You cant beat the great friendly service or there food which is to die for,always hot and tasty (takes a while to come which just shows how fresh it is).Idealy placed to eat in before or after a night out weather with you freinds or for a romantic meal.this realy is the place to eat,just try it and see, it is also very reasonably priced.

  We always order from here and have eaten in many times... the staff are very polite and the food is really nice... we like to try different things and we have never had a bad experience with them! Worth the money, definitely recommend ordering from here.

  I have been ordering my takeaway from Taste of India for a number of years now the food is excellent and has always been most enjoyable. The last couple of times i have phoned and ordered the man delivering has said i should order by 11.30 which could easily cause an argument if that is the case the menu times should have a specific time for the latest delivery time instead of open till 12.30

  First time ordering, food was very nice however let down by extremely small portions and the gent I spoke to very moody and stressed on the phone zero personal touch, bad taste there and then but thought benefit of the doubt and all that. Expensive order and not one free poppodom between us, will be back to our lovely tiffin box I think. Lou

  On the 30th of September I ordered my food from this restaurant and I'm their costumer last 10 years but my food arrived 1,5 hours later. After that I called restaurant and the manager of restaurant kindly told me next time my meal will be free. Today I called restaurant the man answered phone was too rude towards me. Basically he said he can't do anything for delayed food and after that he just blocked my number. I called almost 40 times. He picks up phone but doesn't talk to me. I never faced such things in my life.
