Awful the worst Indian take away ever. Chicken pakora dry abd no flavour, sheek kababs no spice, chicken balti with red chicken and no tomatoes! Even the rice was dry and awful the sag aloo tasted bad all cold took an hour 15 to delivery the only good thing was the naan bread!! Waste off time and money!!

Lovely food but diabolical service! I won't be going again. firstly accepted & took payment for an order on boxing day, sent email confirming all was Ok although they were closed. 3rd Feb placed on line order at 6.15 for delivery 8-8.30. Nothing turned up, phoned at 8.30 told on it's was on its way, eventually turned up 9.15. Rubbish! Won't be using them again.

Been using this Indian for the last 8years now. We pre ordered our Indian for 8. Which arrived on time the food was cold there was no taste to the special fried rice tikka and my lamb tikka was like eating cardboard. My mixed kabab was tasteless too. I received an email offering 15% discount so ordered 2 bog standard curries. The Chicken Tikka Biryani was ok but too highly salted. The Chicken Tikka Dhansak was appalling. A Dhansak is supposed to have a thick sauce containing lentils. Mine was served with a generic, bland and watery red sauce with not a lentil in sight. It was dreadful. On top of that, they had forgotten to include the Pilau rice I ordered to go with it. It's not the first time Ashoka have forgotten part of my order. I thought 15% discount meant you paid less, not you received less food! I've had so many bad curries from Ashoka but return because it is a bit cheaper than the opposition. However, even with the discount the food and service are of such poor quality that I'll not be returning. Goodbye, A Shocker.
